« Figurative abstraction manifests abstract figuration »
« Manifest subjectivity is not an objective »
…and vice versa

In its representative quality, the image has several ways of being read, just like reading itself.
Namely: the recognition of a known object by its shape and use
or, conversely, seeing only its outlines

Beyond the aesthetic exploration through a harmonious conjunction of forms, my work focuses on the dichotomy between the object and its outline. Laminating the entire format of the image allows its contours to emerge beyond the object itself, and when several « laminated » images are compared, either by choice or by chance, a new object is then created, sometimes recognizable as a clearly identified object. In the best cases, the repetition of these new figures/objects forms a sequence and a reading can occur. The title of the « work » then provides information on the reading approach adopted by the author. The treatment of the image in this research is not an end in itself… but a means. The research can continue into architecture through sculpture… and vice versa.
